Exciting News – Travel Hacking Meetup In Vancouver!

We’re excited to announce we’ll be hosting a travel hacking meetup in Vancouver on April 29, 2018 in Vancouver, BC at The St Regis Hotel. This is in response to an overwhelming demand from our readers, and an opportunity to partner with another great local travel hacking couple – Kyle and Samantha Enns of Adventure Never Enns.

What Is Travel Hacking?

Did you ever wonder how it’s possible to travel first class while drinking champagne, eating a 5 course meal, and sleeping in lay-flat bed at 35,000 feet without paying anywhere close to retail prices?

No, you don’t need to be super rich, or a celebrity, or have an “in” with the airlines. All of this is possible using points earned on everyday purchases. Sound too good to be true? We thought so. That’s why we’re inviting you to come join us April 29th at the St. Regis Hotel in Vancouver, BC to hear from the travel hacking experts on how it’s done. We’ve flown across the world in the same comfort you’d receive from a 5-star luxury hotel. Pajamas, amenity kits, fully-flat beds, 21 year old whiskey, wagyu beef, is all par for the course for these seasoned flyers.

If you have an interest in travelling the world using your travel reward points, you won’t want to miss the travel hacking meetup in Vancouver to ask the experts how it’s done. Admission is FREE, and there will be food and beverages available for purchase. Whether you just have an interest in travel, are wanting to learn more about how to fly first class on points, or are an experienced first class flyer, come join the travel hacking community. You’ll get to experience a one of a kind roundtable discussion about the best (and worst) tactics to use to start traveling better using credit card points. Bring your questions, and we’ll bring the answers. Here are a few topics we hope to cover:

  • Marriott/SPG merger – some great new opportunities
  • Manufactured spending
  • Churning credit cards
  • Leveraging referral programs
  • Identifying goals and creating a plan
  • Program sweet spots and high-value redemptions
  • Tips to stay organized
  • & More

Why Are We Doing This Meetup?

We want to bring like-minded travel hackers together to share tricks of the trade for helping each other use travel rewards to travel better. Don’t settle for that economy ticket you priced out on Expedia. There IS a better way! Come learn the insider tactics. You know, the stuff the airlines, hotels, and loyalty programs are all hoping you don’t discover. And don’t worry, all of the advice presented by the experts at this meetup falls in the terms and conditions of each loyalty program. There is a lot of information spread out across the internet for travel hackers trying to learn how to do it themselves. So take a step back from the computer and enjoy a friendly atmosphere for travelers and travel hackers of all skill levels looking to mix and mingle.

Space is limited! Reserve your seat now to guarantee your spot! All participants will also be entered to win a free-night stay at the brand new JW Marriott Parq Vancouver – a prize valued at $400!

We’re also open to what you’d like to learn, so share your ideas in the comment section below and we’ll be sure to cover it!
